In October, the Béjart Ballet Lausanne will be back at the Olympia Theatre in Arcachon for the second time, presenting Syncope by Gil Roman, Altenberg Lieder, Un cygne d’autrefois se souvient que c’est lui and Piaf by Maurice Béjart.

Syncope, “in medical terms, it is a stoppage or slowing of the heart. 5 to 10 seconds of loss of consciousness during which the brain can just imagine, invent or review without limit.”

In Altenberg Lieder, three beings will experience a unique moment of their lives by dancing on Alban Berg’s music. Created 25 years ago for Gil Roman, Un cygne d’autrefois se souvient que c’est lui is today interpreted by two dancers of the company. Piaf takes us to Paris with the stupendous, omnipresent and immortal singer’s voice.
