Alors on danse… ! by Gil Roman, The Firebird and Boléro by Maurice Béjart will be presented at Châteauvallon, the national stage, in France

From July 18 to 20, 2024, the Béjart Ballet Lausanne will perform for three consecutive evenings at Châteauvallon, a national stage in Ollioules, as part of the Châteauvallon Summer Festival. The company will present Alors on danse… !, a ballet by Gil Roman, as well as The Firebird and Boléro, by Maurice Béjart.

The company’s visit is part of the programming for the 2024 Summer Festival at Châteauvallon. Alors on danse… !, which has no other subject than the pleasure of dancing, is set to the music of American composer John Zorn. Stravinsky accompanies The Firebird, an allegory of rebirth. Finally, Ravel sets the rhythm and exalts the soloist in Boléro, on his red table.
