As an homage to Montreux Jazz Festival’s 50th year, the Béjart Ballet Lausanne presented Ballet for Life, on March 15 and 16, 2016, at the Stravinski Auditorium in Montreux. For the opening of the 50th anniversary, BBL honoured, with its rockiest work Ballet for Life, Claude Nobs and his life devotion to his Festival in Montreux and its inhabitants.
With over 400 performances across the entire world, this ballet revived for the first time Freddie Mercury’s fiery in Montreux, the city where he lived and recorded with his band.
