Maurice Béjart created important roles for her in his ballets: Brel et Barbara, Nutcracker, Zarathoustra, le chant de la danse. She has also interpreted lead roles in ballets, such as The Magic Flute (the Queen of the Night), Serait-ce la Mort?, Gaîté parisienne, Wien Wien, nur du allein and L’Amour – la Danse, Ballet for Life, The Ninth Symphony, Sonate n°5 and Im Chambre séparée in Béjart fête Maurice. She took part in numerous creations by Gil Roman, such as Casino des Esprits, Aria, Syncope, Anima Blues, Tombées de la dernière pluie, Impromptu… , t ’M et variations…. and Tous les hommes presque toujours s’imaginent. In 2017, she participated in the creation of Dixit, a piece written and directed by Marc Hollogne with choreographies by Maurice Béjart and Gil Roman.

Since 2019, she has also been appointed assistant to the artistic direction.

In 2005, she received the award Danza & Danza for best interpretation for her leading role in Brel et Barbara.

 

Elisabet began her dance education with Pastora Martos before training with the Institut Del Teatre in Barcelona. In 1987, she joined the Royal Ballet of Wallonia under the direction of Jorge Lefebre. In 1991, she was named principal dancer with the Ballet de Zaragoza under the direction of Mauro Galindo. In 1997, she joined the Béjart Ballet Lausanne where she danced Boléro.
